Juste un conseil que vous DEVEZ suivre : avant de vous lancer dans Sun Ken Rock, notamment pour savoir si le style de Boïchi vous convient, investissez dans une des ses séries, plus petite : Wallman, en trois tomes. Je vous le conseille vraiment, vous me remercierez plus tard.Pour être honnête, je suis tombé sur ce Manga par pur hasard il y'a quelques semaines, auquel j'avais déjà lu les 22 premiers Tome sur 25, sur internet.Je me suis décidé à vouloir les achetés pour pleins de raisons :Sun-Ken-Rock est un Manga pechu, rempli d'action, d'humour, mais qui possède un dessin qui frise la perfection tellement que Mr Boichi aime pousser le réalisme dans ses dessins.À vrai dire, la première fois que j'ai lu Sun Ken Rock, j'étais pas mal dans le doute, je trouvais ça niais, pas super original voir "neuneu". En poussant un peu la lecture, j'ai commencé à avoir des rires et différentes émotions qui m'ont clairement mi en haleine. J'ai fini par être absorbé par le Manga à tel point que j'ai lu plus d'une dizaine de Tome d'affilée, sans m'en rendre compte.Alors oui, SKR est un Manga dont l'originalité du scénario est un bateau :"L'histoire d'un jeune paumé Japonais "Ken", amoureux d'une amie qui s'appel Yumin qui est partie travailler en Corée en tant que Policière. Ken veut donc partir en Corée aussi, à Séoul, pour devenir lui aussi policier. Seulement il va se retrouver à la tête d'un Gang assez rapidement et à partir de là, les choses vont, alors, prendre une tournure différente."- SKR possède des personnages très charismatiques que l'on rencontre au fil des chapitres avec leurs histoires perso.- Mr Boichi raconte aussi pas mal d'anecdote sur diverses choses, que ce soit en terme de personnage ou dans la manière dont il peu travailler, ce qui permet d'entrevoir la manière dont il travail ses planches, mais les backgrounds ou les backstages du manga.- Et oui, comme son nom l'indique Mr Boichi est un Coréen et nous montre, que, niveau Manga, il sait dominé le principe. On apprend, donc, un peu l'histoire de la Corée, par le biais d'astérisques ou simplement dans l'échange de certains protagonistes.- Un dessin qui est juste impressionnant en terme de réalisme (il a énormément le soucis du détail).- De l'action , de l'humour mais pas que.- Le seul défaut que je lui trouve est peut-être un rapport à la nudité/sexe un peu trop exubérante à mon goût dont certains chapitres en deviennent vite lourds. Certaines scènes de nudité/sexe sont là pour donner un contexte parfois frôlant le ridicule, ce qui reste relativement drôle. Mais certains Tome, comme le Chapitre sur la Kpop, est utiliser en abondance et devient très vite lourd. Après je sais que ce passage dénonce pas mal (en Corée la Kpop sont des jeunes qui rêvent de gloires dont leurs état sur résumes presque à de l'esclavage, c'est un métier qui pousse pas mal de jeune Coréen au Suicide en réalité).Mais au final, SKR est un condensé de bonnes choses. L'humour décalé est toujours là, la jolie fille (qui est évidemment un pro du combat) s'empresse d'offrir ses charmes à Ken (qui naturellement refuse) mais ça donne lieu a de jolis dessins.Ceux qui ont apprécié le "subtil" mélange de violence sanguinaire et d'humour crétin seront ravis.L'histoire est bien équilibrée, chaque personnage a son rôle à jouer (pa de faire-valoir qui fait du remplissage).
